Vicenza identity

Vicenza is a small provincial capital of Veneto (Italy) with over 110 000 inhabitants. The city centre is the part in which tourists are more interested. The heart of Vicenza is in fact known as a detailed design of architecture, mainly thanks to the architect Andrea Palladio. The Renaissance mood seems to be still part of everyday life.

The new visual identity addresses tourists interested in art and architecture. Vicenza is in fact a thriving and cosmopolitan city, with a rich history and culture, and many museums, art galleries, piazzas, villas, churches and elegant Renaissance palaces. The city centre represents a masterpiece of human creative genius. It expresses exceptionality in the developments of architecture and urban art imitated around the world. Vicenza is a symbol of renewal in continuity, a huge project in time which impresses and amazes with all of its details and visible historical layers.

WHY VICENZA?
Vicenza is a city rich in historical stratifications and known for Palladio's architectural heritage. The current official identity is unable to enhance it.

WITH ATTENTIVE EYES
I immersed myself in the city for a day as a visitor, trying to observe and above all feel my surroundings. I took photographs of details, drawing inspiration from them.

The result is a delicate and refined identity that expresses the uniqueness of Vicenza as a city of art that takes us back to the Renaissance. To discover Vicenza one must be curious and love details.
